Women Fly !

Here’s a message I was sent from the Museum of Flight, one of my favorite sources on aviation topics !

“…… Women Fly! is The Museum of Flight’s annual event for young women in middle and high school interested in aviation and aerospace careers. Girls are invited to participate in a day of motivational and career-oriented activities that will allow them to meet and learn from professional women working in a variety of aerospace-related careers. Women Fly 2016 will be offered for Middle School students on Thursday, March 24th and for High School students on Friday, March 25th.

Guest speakers for for Women Fly 2016 will be South Korean astronaut Soyeon Yi on Thursday, March 24th and University of Washington scientist Melania Guerra on Friday, March 25th

To register for Women Fly 2016, please follow the links below. Within the links, you will find information for lunch options, shirt sizing, and workshop selection. The registration fee for Women Fly 2016 will be $15 for each student. This fee will extend to those chaperoning Group Registrations. Financial assistance is available for those who cannot cover the registration fee.
