We’re just not giving up !

…. aka The Return of WhyFly – Again

Glenn asked me to post these NEW articles for you, so I’ll shut up from here and leave the stage to him. Enjoy !

I can’t believe it’s been ten months since the last episode of “Those Thrilling Days of Yesteryear.” Michelle and I have been frantically trying to get a new Aviation Drama Series on Television, it’s taken every waking minute, and we still don’t know if it will sell or not (3 years is a normal “development period” in TV land).

That’s why poor Why Fly has taken a back seat – and may Michelle and I offer many, sincere thanks to our partner, Francois Dumas, for keeping this online Journal alive.

We still have very little time to work on Why Fly … but we’ve all spent so much work getting this project up and online that the idea of turning our backs on it is just unthinkable.

So here’s what we’re going to do:

I’ll complete the story of “The Invitational Cross-Country-Adventure,” which made such a huge impact on our lives, then I’ll post pre-written highlights from my book, “Living On Stolen Time” – which still isn’t finished.
(After all … why would you bother buying the book if you can read everything here? [g])

Michelle has several gorgeous Photo Essays she’s intended to post, and I’m sure Francois will have more to say. (When doesn’t he? [vbg]).

In addition – somewhere in this line of external hard drives – we have more stories submitted by other Why Fly authors when the project was going strong.

As soon as I can, I’ll dig those out and we’ll start posting them as well.

So this is the slow beginning of yet-another-attempt to re-start Why Fly. Not quite the way we originally planned but – with luck – Why Fly will take on a life of its own again … just like it did in the beginning.

Therefore, without further ado, I’m pleased to finally present:

Those Thrilling Days of Yesteryear (Episode #25)
